Subotica City and Arena bakery provide meals for 90 students
Subotica City and Arena bakery during the campaign 180 Days of Humanity provide meals for 90 students from the Žarko Zrenjanin high school. This campaign started on the first of February and it will continue to the end of the year, while bakery plan is to provide 15.500 meals.

Students from Economic and Trade school in Zadar in cooperation with the Volunteer Centre, organized charity action for Valentine's Day. Students, members of the creative group Pinel sold handicrafts made for this occasion. Handicrafts sold for a symbolic price and all raised funds are intended for Home for Children and Youth in Zadar.

Henkel and Konzum Companies donated 10,944 BAM (app. 5,595 EUR) to Red Noses (Crveni nosevi) Association. This grant will allow the organization to provide psychosocial support to patients and their families through their unique ‘clown doctors’ approach at both the Pediatric Clinic of the University of Sarajevo and the Pediatric Department of the University Hospital Center in Zagreb. This donation was part of the successful campaign Bring Your Smile to the Hospital (Donesite i vi osmijeh u bolnice).

Maksimir and Expeditus organize a benefit concert
The Maksimir Center for Culture and EXPEDITUS Society for the Support of the Independence of Persons with Disabilities are organizing a benefit concert on 15 February featuring the band Nostalgia at the Zagreb Center for Culture and Information. Proceeds from the concert will be used to purchase Servus assistive technology devices that aid individuals with severe physical disabilities in more easily using common household electronic appliances. 50 people in Croatia currently own these devices, and the campaign’s goal is to purchase an additional 50 devices (90.000 HRK).

Childerns draw for Kalina Raseta
For Valentine’s Day, members of the Ant (Mrav) Citizens Association organized a card-making workshop for students of the Little Bees (Pčelica) in Apatin. Cards made during the workshop will be sold by volunteers in the new open-air market, with all proceeds from the sale to be donated for the treatment for Kalina Rašeta, a one-year-old girl with spinal muscular atrophy. The total cost of Kalina’s treatment is 7,500 EUR.

Children with Down Syndrome from the Down 21 Association were hosted by the Cedevita first basketball squad in their sports hall. The goal of the One Team Program of the basketball club is to reach out to and work with groups of individuals who need socialization assistance. Each Monday, team members hang out with groups of young people selected for the program.
