Scout Girls Tradition Comes to Albania - Girls Make and Sell Biscuits to Collect Money for Charity

On September 8th, a group of girl scouts held a biscuit fair in Fier, first of its kind in Albania. The initiative was supported by Epoka e Re Association which will finance a girl camp intended to empower young women and increase their participation in various extracurricular activities.

Catholic Church Organizes a Summer Camp for People with Disabilities for the 22nd Consecutive Year

30 young volunteers were a part of the Summer Camp “Shpresa” at Velipoja beach, in Lezha, which lasted for 45 days and was attended by around 180 people with disabilities. Working with them was a part of the volunteering work of the youngsters, which makes the project even more unique: daily, they organized different activities and games for all the attendees with different disabilities.
